THINGS TO KNOW
Ordering the Score
All singers are expected to purchase a copy of the score. Scores may be purchased here.
Digital version of score
A digital score will be provided if you send us proof that you have purchased a score. That would ideally be a photo of the receipt that came with the score, or alternatively just a photo of the cover of your score. Please send it to this address: [email protected]
Expectations: Due to the short rehearsal timeline, all notes and rhythms should be learned prior to the first rehearsal!
Practice Files now available
We will be using an app called “ChoralWorks” to access the practice files for the five movements in “Illuminare.” The app is very flexible and useful but takes a bit of getting used to in the beginning. I strongly recommend you watch this beginner’s tutorial on how it works (you may want to turn off the “Closed Captions”). It’s about ten minutes long but really worth it. Then the practice files for each movement will make sense. Note that you can use ChoralWorks from a phone, a tablet, or computer.

Due to the short time frame, only one excused absence will be permitted. Any additional absences should be brought up to the director ahead of time.
